Zen Hut was created by the team behind The Massage People, a company that has been delivering wellness services in London for over 10 years.

The Massage People was built around a simple idea: make high quality mobile massage more accessible. From the beginning, we have offered treatments both with and without a treatment table. However, not all London homes are suited to setting up a mobile table, so offering both options made treatments more practical and accessible across different environments.

This approach also supported therapists. For some, carrying a table across London, particularly on public transport, can be physically demanding. Providing the option to work without a table made the platform more inclusive and sustainable for a wider range of professionals. 

As the business grew, we created Zen Hut to formally separate the two models to give each greater clarity and specificity. The Massage People now primarily serves clients who are comfortable without a table or who already have their own, while Zen Hut is dedicated to therapists who carry a treatment table and to clients who specifically prefer that traditional setup. Both platforms operate under the same ownership, standards and management team.

Together, the two brands provide choice, while maintaining the same level of professionalism and care. We are also proud to be the best paying platform in the industry, ensuring therapists receive a higher percentage of the booking fee than any other provider. We believe this creates better value for clients and a more ethical, balanced model for everyone involved.
